Reports coming in from the Far North regional capital, Maroua say at least two terrorists of the Nigerian-based Boko Haram sect have been killed by Cameroonian Defense Forces in the town.
Details say that the terrorists tried entering a village called Fima, in the Logone and Chari Division for an attack, when they were intercepted by the Cameroonian military.
The soldiers attacked the group which tried infiltrating into the population, with several gunshots which ended up killing two of the terrorists, while the rest escaped with injuries.
The attack on these terrorists also led to the seizure of several sophisticated weapons from the group such as guns and bullets.
