At least two persons have died today following a road accident along the Bafoussam-Douala road. Two other persons were equally injured following the same accident. They are said to have been rushed to a health facility where they are receiving treatment.
Media reports say the accident involved a motorbike had a head on collision with a heavy-duty truck. The bike is said to have been damaged beyond repairs. Two of the four passengers on the motorbike died on the spot, while the others were rushed to a health centre for medical attention.
Among the victims of the accident was a uniformed man. Witnesses say the bike had been seized from a palm wine tapper moments before the accident. While the occupants of the motorbike were greatly affected after the accident, the wine seller, fortunately, escaped without any issues
