Security forces in Batcham, a village in Cameroon’s West region say they have confiscated two bags of dried marijuana.
The bags as well as a gun, they say, were taken from the house of two widows following a tip off from sources.
The ladies after claiming to have no knowledge of the drug are said to have revealed that it was owned by their husband who passed away days back.
The recent arrest is one of many often reported in the Bamboutous division and the West region as a whole, and comes within a recent crackdown on narcotics in the region.
