Two pickpockets burnt to death in Douala

Two men specialized in pickpocketing valuable items from passersby have been burnt to death by an angry mob in Douala, Littoral region of Cameroon.

They were apprehended yesterday evening July 13, 2023, by the population precisely in the Entree Bille neighbourhood in Douala.

According to sources, the two thugs were caught attempting to flee with a phone which they pickpocketed from a passerby.

“They made use of a motorcycle to escape but were apprehended by the angry population,” narrated a source.

They were set ablaze on the spot alongside their motorcycle.
