Two presumed bandits burnt to death in Bamenda

Some two suspected armed bandits have been set ablaze by a mob in Bamenda in the North West region of Cameroon.

The incident occured today Monday December 14.

The armed men were nabbed in the Ntamulung neighborhood and later severely beaten by a crowd of irate residents.

Locals say the suspected bandits who were three in number have been threatening residents of the area in broadaylight.

They met their doom Monday as they attempted to rob a pastor around Upper Ntamulung neighborhood.

Following an alert, the population of the neighborhood rallied around the crime scene and eventually overpowered the bandits.

Two of the three bandits subsequently set ablaze with the help of tires.
