Three persons are reported have been killed in Kissem village, Mbiame, in the troubled North West region of Cameroon.
The casualties include two soldiers killed by separatist fighters in the locality.
A security report notes that they were killed in an “ambush during patrol.”
The elements of the national gendarmerie brigade it added, “received bullets in the forehead and chest.”
Sources indicate that a civilian was later shot dead, a move believed to be carried out by soldiers.
