Two suspected Boko Haram fighters killed in Far North

Two suspected Boko Haram fighters have reportedly been killed in Matam near Maroua of the Far North region.

They were apprehended by the Cameroon security forces after members of the Islamist sect reportedly attacked the 42 Motorised Infantry Batallion last night.

Three of the attackers were killed while one was seriously injured, sources have confirmed.

The military also recovered 2 AK47’s from the jihadists, we gathered.
