Taxi driver and suspected drug dealer killed in Buea
At least two persons, one of whom is confirmed to be a commercial taxi driver, were shot dead in Bomaka, Buea, in the evening of this Monday, March 17, 2025, after gunmen believed to be separatist fighters stormed the locality.
The victims, identified as Kudi, a resident of Muea, and Jude, a father of five children, were fatally shot.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen opened fire on the two as they went about normal activities and left them dead at the scene.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear. Onlookers, however, suspect separatist fighters to have masterminded the macabre act on grounds of the taxi driver not respecting ghost towns.
Authorities have since launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the killings.
