UB law student found dead in her room

The University of Buea, UB, has lost one student to the cold hands of death.

Sakwe Marvel, a level 400 female student of English private law was reportedly found dead in her room at God’s Grace mini cite in Molyko, Buea south West region — the night of National Unity Day celebration.

According to neighbours. “She was lastly seen in the morning and was not seen throughout the day,” a source told MMI.

The source added that, she was later found dead in her room after efforts to reach her on phone proved futile.”

“Unable to reach her on phone, her boyfriend came looking around 9:00PM.on May 20th. Together with some neighbours, they forced open the door and found her dead in bed in her pyjamas,” the source added.

The cause of her dead has not been medically established.

However, MMI has gathered that the deceased was an epileptic patient.

Family sources say her death is likely to have been caused by an epileptic attack.
