UBa student kidnapped

A student of the University of Bamenda, UBa Njodzeka Claudia has been kidnapped. Kidnapped on Sunday 5th July, she was taken by her abductors from near her hostel, Kristag 1 in Bambili as she she stepped out around 6:30pm to get something from a nearby store.

Njodzeka Claudia is a second year student of communication and development, CADS in the faculty of Arts at the University of Bamenda and used to participate actively in the university radio, UBa voice, FM 91.5

Her kidnappers are reportedly asking for a ransom of 3 million FCFA in exchange for her release.

Bambili the main student residential area in Bamenda has been a fertile ground for rampant kidnapping for ransom since the Anglophone crisis escalated into an armed conflict.
