UBa: Three Die After Attending Thursday’s Graduation Ceremony

The President of the Philosophy Students’ Association of the University of Bamenda (UBa), Sama Ransom Atud has died shortly after taking part in Thursday’s graduation ceremony.

The fresh graduate died in a fatal accident along the Bambui-Bambili Road.

Reports say Sama was on board a bike with two others when they were gravely hit by a speeding vehicle. He died on the spot while the other two died in hospital.

Many have blamed the sad incident on the dusty nature of the road linking Bambui and Bambili which has moved to another level after the road was graded.

“Driving on that road has been a nightmare as seeing an upcoming vehicle is an almost impossible thing,” said Paul, a taxi driver.

This is a developing story
