A Ugandan court has ordered soldiers to leave the house of Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine.
Stationed at his residence after an election that saw the incumbent Museveni retain power, a court on Monday ordered that the military and police leave.
Reports however indicated that the forces did not immediately leave, a situation that has attracted widespread criticism.
Bobi Wine, on his part, has not been silent about the ‘house arrest’.
“This has been the situation at my house these past days. Aside from the military and police surrounding us, military and police helicopters have been consistently hovering over our residence in breach of our privacy rights. Cowards!” He wrote.
