A Ugandan woman whose name MMI got as Deborah Nabulime has been arrested after she was spotted torturing a toddler in a viral video.
The 22-year-old was arrested on Saturday, September 3, for brutalizing her two-year-old daughter for about 20 minutes.
According to reports, the woman has had three children, from three different relationships in recent years.
Locals of the Busula A in Katikamu, South County in Luweero District, where she resides, indicate that the 22-year-old woman has been carrying such acts regularly on the kid.
“I just heard a rumor that Ms. Nabulime was torturing the baby on the day she was arrested on Saturday. It is unfortunate that we live in a society where everybody minds their own business at the expense of life threatening incidents,” said the LCI chairperson of Busula, in an interview.
The two-year-old daughter is said to have undergone rehabilitation, while the mother in question, remains under the custody of the forces of law and order.
