Uganda’s Ghetto Kids to feature in first-ever American Got Talent Fantasy League

Ghetto Kids of Uganda, one of Africa’s most talented kid dance groups, announced their participation in the first-ever edition of the American Got Talent (AGT) Fantasy League.

They announced it on their official Instagram account. “We are excited to announce that we will compete in the #AGTFantasyLeague @agt, which premieres on January 1st, 2024, on @nbc,” they posted on Thursday evening.

According to an announcement by the AGT team, the AGT team will kick off the first edition of America’s Got Talent, Fantasy League, on January 1.

The 40 returning all-star acts will compete against each other throughout the season. All of them participated in previous “Got Talent” competitions such as America Got Talent, Canada Got Talent, Britain Got Talent, and others.

The debut of Britain’s Got Talent in 2023 saw the Uganda Ghetto Kids make history as they earned a Golden Buzzer with their performance. The dance group received the coveted Golden Buzzer as the first act.

Fans will have voting power right from the start during the American Got Talent (AGT) Fantasy League. Terry Crews will host it, and judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum will be there.

It should be noted that the Ghetto Kids have also performed at several international events, including the BET Awards and the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

The judges will award the winning act a grand prize of $250,000.
