An unidentified person is reported to have impersonated the president of the Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o Fils, in order to extort some money from Serge Daniel, Malian Journalist.
In a tweet by the Malian Journalist, he wrote, ““Hello Serge-Daniel! How are you ? It’s your brother Samuel Eto’o! I answer: How are you and you since our last meeting in Doha? Silence… I quickly understand that this is a Fake S. Eto’o…”
This is not the first that scammers hide behind the profiles of renowned personalities with main to extort finances.
