Some 68 medical students who have studied in the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Bamenda and have come to the end of their training have today started filling past a constituted panel, presenting and defending their various projects that completes their training as medical doctors in the university.
The 3-day academic exercise under the supervision of delegates of the national medical council, unfolding at Amphitheatre 340 of the University of Bamenda is holding in strict compliance with barrier measures against Covid-19.
According to Ahmadu Garba, one of the student doctors, spending seven years in the university has been a tedious task.
“I’m happy that I have been able to convince the jury on what I wrote.
“I’m leaving this place just to go and prepare for my graduation. I have always dreamed to become a medical doctor,” he said.
Kiven Kisitor, another medical student who also passed in front of the jury says he is happy going through the exercise.
“My heart was beating very fast. I was scared my work will not be accepted. I’m happy I made it,” he said.
