USA: ‘Son’ of late Bernard Fonlon dies

Professor Bernard Fonlon Junior, adopted son of late former minister and University don, Professor Bernard Nsokkika Fonlon has died.

Fonlon Junior, we gathered, died Thursday December 29, 2022.

He is said to died of cancer at the age of 41 in Washington DC,United States of America.

Camerooonians at home and abroad have been paying tribute to the late academic since his death was announced.

“Bernard you fought for life and never against death. You kept the faith until the last minute,“ Said Vincent Sosthène Fouda.

According to Akere Muna, one of the big names in Cameroon, “As his name suggests, he was indeed the son of Cameroon’s historic giant of the same name. Bursting with life, he had a good heart. Go slowly brother and rest in peace.”

Fonlon Junior, Who died at the age of 41 has left behind a wife many children.

His Father,Late Professor Bernard Nsokkika Fonlon served in Ahidjo’s government as minister in several departments before becoming Literature Professor and Head of department at the University Yaoundé.
