A journalist working for Cameroon’s Vision 4 TV has been barred from covering Chad’s April 11 Presidential election.
Wangso Édouard, was prohibited by Chad’s media regulatory body, HAMA just days to the election.
The private media staff was accused by the body yesterday March 27 of demanding money from the country’s first lady.
Wangso Édouard, HAMA stated, had solicited funds from First lady Hinda Deby days back.
The decision to suspend the pressman from the process is seen by many as a blow to not only his media house but to the entire Cameroon media landscape.
