Reports say the ministry of trade has forbidden the consumption of Sano water across the country.
Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana is said to have accused the enterprise of not complying with set operating and packaging standards for its bottles and water canisters intended for public consumption.
The action violates the 2016 law on the mining code in Cameroon.
In a correspondence addressed to the company, the Minister of Trade is said to have ordered the immediate withdrawal of the products from the market.
