The Under-20 Indomitable Lions’ Head Coach, Christophe Ousmanou has spoken of his team’s chances at qualifying for the semis by beating Ghana in today’s encounter.

Though the coach has admitted that the encounter between the two Nations will be a tough one, he also acknowledges that he is quite pleased with the crop of players he has assembled and believes that they have everything at their disposal to knockout three times U-20 AFCON Champions, Ghana.

In a pre-match press conference yesterday, the coach stated that “Ghana is a great football nation, and so are we. We know this game will be very difficult but the players are well prepared. We’ve been ready since the first day we came here, to tackle every game by game. We know it will be difficult, but we are coming to win. I’m proud to have a very offensive team and to know that every striker I have on the team can score, whether they are a beginner or coming from the bench. The most important thing for us, however, is to win tomorrow.”

Cameroon qualified for the knockout stages of the competition with three victories, 6 goals scored and 1 conceded. They were the only team to have won all three group games, placing them amongst the favorites of the competition alongside Ghana, whom they will be facing at 5pm today.
