Women’s African Cup of Nations 2022: FECAFOOT releases final squad list

The final list of female players to partake in the Women’s African Cup of Nations has been made public today Monday June 20 by the Cameroon Football Federation, Fecafoot.

They are 26 in total, retained by Gabriel Zabo, Indomitable Lionesses’ head coach.

The List consists of 3 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 6 midfielders and 8 attackers.

A list was published earlier today which according to the Fecafoot included a player who was not to partake in the competition.

The replacement therefore prompted a change of list, followed by an apology on the part of the Cameroon football federation.

The Women’s AFCON 2022 is scheduled to take place from the 2nd to the 23rd of July in Morocco.
