Women’s World Cup: The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon seal place in intercontinental play-offs

Ahead of the 2023 Women’s World Cup, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have secured a qualification ticket into the intercontinental play-offs.

This follows their 1-0 victory on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 over Botswana.

Njoya Ajara secured the goal in the 3rd minute of additional time, accorded in the first half of the encounter.

The Indomitable Lionesses now join 9 other teams in the intercontinental play-off to compete for a spot in the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup will place next year in New Zealand and Australia.
