Father responsible for the rape of his two children arrested in Nkol Adjap, Lekié

A man said to have been responsible for the rape of his two girl children in Nkol Adjap in the Lekié division of the Centre Region, has been arrested.

According to reports, the man’s wife left their marriage as a result of domestic violence. Consequently, their 5 children were left in the care of the father.

According to one of their sons, their father would bring his two girls into the room every night, after which they would begin hearing cries.

“Every night, every morning dad undresses in the bedroom with our 2 sisters and then begins to hear cries from them.”

These accusations prompted the man to run away.

Meanwhile, the extended family went ahead and carried out medical examinations on the two girls aged 10 and 12.

The results confirmed they had been assaulted by their father.

The father was later captured by the Saa police and placed under custody.

Investigations revealed that the mother, before her departure was aware of the acts which she is said to have observed for years in silence.
