Yaoundé :10-year-old goes missing in floods

Members of a family in Yaounde, Centre region of Cameroon are inconsolable after their 10-year-old son went missing in a flood.

The floods rocked the Mvogbetsi neighbourhood following a heavy rain downpour on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

According to local sources, the child is likely to have been carried away by the floods.

A search has been launched to find the 10-year-old boy whose identity MMI is yet to obtain.

The family has been left heartbroken as they continue to hope their child is found sound and safe.
