Yaounde: ‘Festival Ensemble’ slated December 17 to January 2, 2022

The nation’s capital Yaounde will from December 17 to January 2, 2022 host the Festival ensemble.

The festival is an initiative of DeekayHouse Entertainment Company Limited in partnership with the Yaounde 6 Council.
Loosely translated as “We are together”, the festival would span 17 days.

The get-together will take place at the Yaounde 6 Council esplanade.

The festival which is in its 2nd edition is meant to enhance living together and harmony among citizens during the festive period.

Invited to benefit from this festival are young and upcoming artists.

Organisers have made available a cash prize of 1 million FCFA for creative minds in the musical world.

Winners would also have a complete music alum produced for free.

When the festival goes underway in December, the population will be treated to music competition, dance exhibitions, visual art, exhibition of various goods and services, a beauty contest.

There would also be a merry-go-round for kids and a culinary art contest. Organisers say the aim is to celebrate the birth of Christ and enter a new year together.
