Yaounde: Lady accused of witchcraft forced to swallow 1000 franc bank note

A woman, suspected of practicing witchcraft was forced to swallow 1000 FCFA which she discreetly dropped on the ground in Yaounde, Center Region.

The incident took place precisely in the Damas neighborhood, yesterday Thursday, November 24, 2022.

She was caught by onlookers who spotted her intentionally dropping the money on the ground.

In a viral video, the woman could be seen being forced by the population to pick the 1000 FCFA which she hesitantly did.

She was later forced to insert the note of 1000 FCFA in her mouth. “You wanted to kill someone’s child, put it inside your mouth,” said some persons.

“What they asked you to do with that money will get back to you,” others shouted.

To the greatest surprise of the population, the woman began to take off her clothes, standing naked before them.

It remains uncertain what has become of her.
