A house has reportedly been demolished in Efoulan, Yaounde following a dispute on the ownership of the land on which it was built.The piece of land MMI gathers was sold by a man who’s sister later ordered for the demolition. The lady claimed her brother had no right to sell the family property without her consent.The lady’s action comes after the court case is said to have been dragging in court for more than two years now and she had been threatening to destroy the building.The house a family member of the owner claims hosted about 10 internally displaced persons prior to the demolition.The owner of the house claims the building was demolished without any prior notice or authorisation from any authority.The lady is yet to react on the recent development.
