Yaoundé: Police official shoots commercial biker, takes to his heels

A police officer has taken to his heels after shooting a commercial biker in the leg in Yaounde, Center Region of Cameroon.

According to reports, the young man was shot at a control point by a police officer whose name we got as Nna Christian.


Both men are said to have had a verbal exchange with the bike rider accusing the officer of chasing his passenger.

Reports say he urged the officer to pay him what he ought to have earned from the said passenger, causing the scuffle.

Reports have it that Nna Christian took to his heels immediately after committing the act.

The victim on his part was rushed to the hospital.
