Yaounde residents taken aback by pro-Amougou Belinga protests

Yaounde residents were taken aback when they saw a group of youths on the streets, marching in solidarity with the Vision 4 boss, Amougou Belinga.

Mr. Belinga who has become a controversial personality including his media group in Cameroon, recently announced that activities were temporarily being halted at Vision 4 Television and other Anedote outlets.

Prior to his decision, the government had banned him from leaving the country over undeclared reasons.

“He took a personal decision to shutdown his outlets for the time being, why should youths go out protesting,” questioned an observer.

The protest has however taken place unperturbed, unlike those organised by opposition leaders which are met with brute force.
