At least 17 students of Government Bilingual High School, Mendong-Yaoundé have been dismissed.
It is reported that they were caught in a room around the Mendong Gendarmerie Brigade where they had organised a sex party.
The act which happened on October 22, 2021 was caught by elements of the Mendong Gendarmerie Brigade.
Reports say they were transferred to the Yaoundé court of first instance after interrogation by the Gendarmes.
They were however freed, given that they were all minors, except for one of them who is 18 years old, sent to the Yaoundé Nkondengui Maximum Prison.
The incident adds to a series of deviant behaviors recorded in schools across the country. Still this week, close to 10 students at another secondary school in Yaounde were caught in possession of cannabis and dangerous weapons on campus.
