Yaoundé: Suspected drug addicts arrested by Nlongkack Gendarmerie

The Nlongkack Gendarmerie brigade has apprehended a group suspected to be involved in the trafficking and consumption of hard drugs such as marijuana.

The group was arrested in an operation carried out in the Mballa 2 neighborhood, following complaints and hints of a group of young traffickers and addicts in the area by residents.

A group of Gendarmes deployed, raided the area, arresting the group of boys, among which was a student. The Gendarmes caught the group in possession of some quantities of Marijuana.

Elements of the Gendarmerie have vowed to continue their operations throughout inflicted neighborhoods. They say they must purge the city of drug addicts and make the society liveable and the youths useful and free from marijuana.
