A group of three suspected armed robbers have been apprehended in the town of Yaoundé.
They were picked up after allegedly masterminding an operation in a private residence in Mbalgong.
The three individuals were reportedly arrested on separate occasions by officers of the Biyem- Assi Gendarmerie.
According to the officers at the Gendarmerie, all three suspects of the burglary of Mbalgong in the Outskirts of Yaoundé were present during the robbery and were caught in possession of some of the items which they had reportedly stolen from the home in question.
One of the suspects was arrested in Nsimeyong in Yaoundé while she was in another operation, robbing a shop on February 17th.
Interrogations after the arrest led to further arrests of the other two members of the gang by the officers of the Mvogbetsi Gendarmerie.
