Yaoundé University Hospital to Receive Over 10,000 Dialysis Kits

The Yaoundé Cameroon University Hospital (CHU) is set to receive more than 10,000 dialysis kits in the coming weeks. This is according to Pr. Félicien Ntone, the Director General of the CHU.

Under the auspices of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Global Health Initiative, the United States government has taken the initiative to supply the kits. With a valuation exceeding $1 million, they are worth a fortune for those who will benefit from them.

The kits will be used to provide dialysis treatment to patients with kidney failure. The CHU currently has a waiting list of over 2,000 patients who need dialysis.
The arrival of the kits is a major boost for the CHU and for patients with kidney failure in Cameroon. It will significantly reduce the waiting list for dialysis treatment and improve the quality of care that patients receive.

This is great news for patients in Cameroon who have been facing challenges getting dialysis kits.

Pr Ntone expressed his gratitude to the US government for the donation of the kits. He said that the kits will make a big difference in the lives of patients with kidney failure in Cameroon.

He also called on other donors to come forward and help the CHU provide quality healthcare to patients in need.

The arrival of the dialysis kits is a welcome development for the Yaoundé Cameroon University Hospital and for patients with kidney failure in Cameroon. It is a sign of hope for patients who have been waiting for dialysis treatment for a long time.
