Yaoundé: Woman’s lifeless body discovered maimed

The lifeless body of a yet-to-be-identified lady has been found in the Awae Escalier neighborhood in Yaoundé.

The lady’s body was found this morning by locals in the vicinity who say thy believe she was murdered.

Her body was found with a wound to the head and a brutalized face: “… It seems as if she was robbed. She also has a serious injury on her head…,” one of the Awae Escalier locals reveals.

It is also feared that she might have been molested by her assailant before being killed as her body was found topless.

Security forces have visited the scene to assess the situation.

The recent discovery adds to a rising number of instances of insecurity recorded in the nation’s capital.

Within a week, two structures, the Supreme State Audit Office and the Directorate General of Taxation buildings were burgled by men of the underworld.
