2025 Presidential Election: North West CPDM Elites Call for President Paul Biya’s Candidacy

34 Section Presidents of the Cameroon People Democratic Movement, CPDM, have called on 89-Year-Old President Paul Biya to stand again as a candidate for the upcoming 2025 presidential election.

The message was conveyed to the Head of State through Cameroon’s Prime Minister, Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute.

Having already been incapacitated and crippled by age, the North West CPDM elites say President Paul Biya is the right man to lead Cameroon amidst the ongoing Anglophone crisis.

Expected to end his current mandate at 92 years, another mandate will see him rule over Cameroon till he’s 99 years old.

In calling for President Paul Biya’s candidacy, the elites said he is “…the father of the nation. We have seen a father who is ready to forgive all his children…”

In the most Machiavelic style, the President was praised for his cosmetic solutions to an Anglophone crisis he contributed to by the elite.

“…he always calls on children to come and lay down their arms. We think there are still other experiences that we need to copy from him,” the elites have said.

“This is why the presidents of the CPDM sections in the North West have decided to call on the President of the Republic to stand in the next Presidential election,” the elites said on CRTV.
