A 60-year old man whose name MMI got as Nshadze Roland popular known as Taa Woo Egypt has reportedly been rushed to the hospital. This is after being kidnapped and tortured by separatist fighters in Kikaikom, a locality in Kumbo, Bui division of the North West region, MMI has learnt.
The old man was reportedly picked up on August 19, 2022 by armed separatist who accused him of selling Les Brasseries du Cameroun drinks.
“He was brutally beaten yesterday in Kumbo by the Amba boys from Kikaikom just because he was selling Brasseries products” a family source told MMI, revealing that “this business has been going on normally in Kumbo and most of those who consume it are the Amba boys but this time around they are very bitter capturing business owners of this line”.
“How can I believe that someone who humiliates my parents, beats them is fighting for my freedom” the source lamented, regretting that “because of guns some people now claim to be more southern Cameroonians than others”.
According to reports, family members have not been able to see Nshadze Roland despite going to Kikaikom separatist base where he is believed to be held captive.
“The family went to the Kikaikom camp today morning but the Amba boys told them that the father has been taken to the health center for medication and that the family should come only after two days”.
