926 MFCFA Budgeted To Rehabilitate Schools Destroyed In NW

The sum of 926 million FCFA has been budgeted to rehabilitate schools destroyed in the North West region within the context of the Anglophone conflict. The money is for schools within the basic education section.


The development was made public at a recent meeting in Bamenda. Officials said at the meeting that, the money is mean for all the six divisions of the North Wes region.


Hundreds of schools have been burnt down and some destroyed across the English- Speaking regions the country. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA, in a fresh report March 10 said over 2300 schools are still shut down in the two regions
