Authorities in Buea have transferred Journalist Samuel Wazizi from the Muea Police Station to a torture center at the 21st Motorised Infantry Battalion.
His lawyer Barrister Lyonga Edward Ewule says the journalist was moved Wednesday afternoon from the Police Cell to a dreaded detention center manned by the military.
Sources say at least 98 percent of people who are taken to that military facility never make it out alive. It is not known if Wazizi is alive or not since no one has seen him since Wednesday afternoon.
The broadcaster with local TV, Chillen Music Television (CMTV) is accused of having links with separatists and hosting same on a farmland in the outskirts of Buea.
Journalists are an endangered species in Cameroon.
