Ambazonia Interim Government has threatened to shoot down any aircraft flying the airspace in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. In a statement made public by the communication secretary of the interim government, Chris Anu, says restoration forces shot down the Camair-Co plane in the North West Region of Cameroon yesterday.
The government of Cameroon has maintained that Municipal and Legislative elections will hold on February 9, 2020, in Cameroon despite agitations from some opposition parties. Territorial Administration Minister Atanga Nji Paul and Communication Minister Emmanuel Rene Sadi in a joint media outing today said a postponement of the polls is impossible given that all constitutional and legal provisions have been exhausted. They promised security on the day of the elections, urging all well-meaning Cameroonians to go ahead and participate in the polls. The government describes calls for a boycott or postponement of the polls as political one-upmanship.

She thinks the government’s inability to end the Anglophone crisis is the root cause of her suffering, as her husband has since gone missing, leaving her with sick children for many months. All six members of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, (CBC), Nkambe Field, who were kidnapped in Ako subdivision over the weekend have been released. The men of God, including the CBC Nkambe Field Pastor, Rev Pastor Tantoh Joseph, Ngengeh Denis, and a famous sound technician in Nkambe went for a field conference in Ako Town in Ako Subdivision when they got kidnapped. It is not certain the circumstances surrounding their release, but kidnappers initially demanded a FCFA 2.5 million Ransom for their release.
Kale Dante, a former influential member of the University of Buea Students’ Union (UBSU) was Sunday appointed deputy spokesman of the twin separatist movements led by Lucas Ayaba Cho, leader of the Ambazonia Defence Forces (ADF) and the Ambazonia Governing Council (AGoC). Ayaba Cho announced the appointment on his Facebook page Sunday. He wrote: “The Communications Department appoints Kale Dante as deputy spokesperson to both Tapang Ivo and Amabo Cecilia. [He is] an ex-UB revolutionary driven patriot volunteer.”

Calm has returned to the Douala Central Market after youths of the Nkomondo neighbourhood went vandalising shops of suspected foreigners out of anger. The angry young men targeted friends and relatives of a Malian national who reportedly raped and killed a 9-year-old Nkomondo girl. The lifeless body of the 9-year-old in an advanced state of decomposition was discovered in the shop of the Malian National on Sunday, December 1, 2019. The Malian national is said to be on the run following the accusations of killing kids and selling their body parts. His house at Nkomondo in Douala was ransacked in search of evidence. The man was operating a laundrette in his house.
One person killed and another wounded in Mbande village in Ako Subdivision. A suspected Ambazonia fighter identified as Nkoko Blaise Ndokoh has been shot dead. An eyewitness confirmed that a group of armed boys suspected to be Ambazonia fighters from Nzibie village still in Ako Subdivision invaded the village this evening to fight against their supposed Amba colleagues. The eyewitness recounts that the Amba boys had a disagreement over the treatment of civilians in the area.
The remains of a man shot dead at Bonanjo Quarter in Douala this morning by presumed bandits has been deposited at the morgue. The suspected bandits are said to have trailed the businessman after he withdrew money from a financial institution. Another man on board a motorcycle was equally shot.

South African police have arrested three members of the National Christian Resistance Movement (NCRM) for an alleged terror plot.
