Rehabilitation works along the Kumba-Ekondo Titi have been disrupted.
The exercise has been ongoing for the past two months hitch free but it was disrupted by separatist fighters.
The separatist fighters reportedly attacked workers on the site Friday May 7.
It is reported that the separatist fighters stormed the area, while work was ongoing.
In the process, 14 workers were kidnapped and compactor set ablaze.
The rehabilitation work according to sources, had seen 13.64 km of the stretch paved.
The attack by Amba fighters comes barely two weeks after the minister of public works, Emmanuel Nganou had furnished equipment for the swift rehabilitation of the stretch.
