Traditional rulers of Lebialem have paid a visit to the newly installed Paramount chief of Buea, HRM Dr Robert Esuka Mbella Endeley IV.
During the visit, the chiefa congratulated him on his successful coronation.
The visit, considered as intercheifdom collaboration was characterized by fraternal exchanges and hospitality.
“We found it necessary that this fraternal bond has to be created. We are here to wish our brother well as he leads the poeple of Buea” said HRH Sabaton Fontem, head of Lebialem delegation.
HRH Mafany Martins, President of the South West Chiefs confederation appreciated the delegation and reiterated that Buea is always open to receive everyone. His words” We the people of Buea, as our Paramount chief earlier said, we receive, our hand are open. Buea is the seat of institutions in the South West Region and Lebialem people particularly, believe the stronger the traditional rule of Buea, the stronger Buea will be”.
It should be noted that the last visit of this kind took place about four decades ago.
