Links between communities in Fonfuka, Bum subdivision have again been cut off.
This follows a heavy downpour that let to the sweeping away of a local bridge reconstructed with wood some weeks back by the local population who thought government had forgotten them.
Locals were shocked to see the bridge no more after the heavy downpour of Thursday September 8, 2022.
It is the second time, the bridge is wiped off, according to information filtering MMI news room.
“You at MMI reported the construction of this bridge. Another floods came and wiped it off for the second time,” a local told us.
“The people of Bamlu did not tie the bridge well,” our source added.
The bridge according to report is the Link between Bamlu ,a remote locality and Fonfuka, Capital of Bum subdivision in Boyo division of the North West Region of Cameroon.
