A woman has been arrested by the forces of law and order for stabbing her husband to death in Yaoundé, Center Region of Cameroon.

The incident occurred yesterday Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the Nkomo neighborhood, precisely behind the gendarmerie brigade.

It is reported that the couple had a misunderstanding yesterday after which the man then left the house for a stroll. After spending a while out, he returned to his home at about 3 pm.

“As soon as he showed up at home, his wife reignited the quarrel. The man went into the bedroom, the latter went to find him there. Thierry then ordered his wife to go out indicating that he wanted to have some rest,” recounted journalist, Bruno Bidjang.

“Tired of supporting her man’s categorical refusal to indulge in verbal exchange, the lady goes into the kitchen and grabs a knife. Returning to the bedroom, she meets her husband in front of the door. She would then stab him in the heart,” he added.

Crying out in distress, with hopes of being heard and saved as soon as possible, Thierry successfully crawled to the veranda in his pool of blood.

Once at the veranda, he managed to remove the knife from his chest before collapsing in a pool of blood and dying on the spot.

The deceased leaves behind 2 children. While his wife is being kept in custody at the Gendarmerie, his corpse has been deposited at the mortuary of the Ekounou military garrison.
