Jota restored Liverpool’s two-goal lead before the Reds took advantage of poor defending to win the game.

“I think it is the best game we have played this season. I think we forced Leeds into making errors. It was a really good game, sensational goals” the Liverpool manager said at the post match interview before adding:
“We had a really good training week. I could have chosen three or four different lineups. Everything I saw on the pitch from a manager’s point of view was really good.
“There are eight games to come, we need to do this again and again,” Klopp said.
Leeds have surrendered five or more goals in consecutive league games for the first time in the club’s history.
Liverpool earned their 250th away win in their 592nd Premier League game on the road, becoming only the fourth team in competition history to do it (Manchester United in 470 games, Chelsea in 554 games, and Arsenal in 573 games).
Leeds have conceded 16 goals in four Premier League games this month, eight more than any other team and one more than they did in the previous three months (15 in 11 games).
