A local artiste, Ali Square has been apprehended by the security forces for being involved in the trafficking of human organs in Meiganga, Adamawa Region.

According to reports, the artiste recently employed a 22-year-old to kidnap a child in his neighborhood so the latter’s organs could be used for their usual operation.

The emissary was caught in the act while trying to discard the remains of the young child.

When interrogated, he disclosed that he was commissioned by the said artiste. They both were later arrested and placed under custody.

According to reports, the 22-year-old behind bars denounced an attempt to poison him, allegedly perpetrated by his accomplice as a means to silence him.
