Barrister Akere Muna has said he will present his vision to Cameroonians at a ceremony at the Yaounde Conference Center a day into campaigns ahead of the October 7 polls.
He wrote on his Facebook page:
“To build A New Republic, we need to keep reflection alive, set up a permanent think-tank and anticipate on ways to improve things. The worrisome situation in our country economically, politically and socially, requires a deep analysis and appropriate responses.
“This is the reason why I recently requested a report on the governance of our country, by national and international experts on the model of the African Peer Review Mechanism (M.A.E.P.). From this very elaborate report, I wrote my program for the reconstruction of our Nation.
“I will have the pleasure this Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at the Palais des Congrès, during the Convention of the Platform for A New Republic, to present my program and our vision to change Cameroon.
“A Facebook live will be available on my page that day.”
