“Anglophone” neighbourhoods in Yaounde under military surveillance as the Ministry of Defence says terrorists have infiltrated the town
A confidential document issued by the defence minister in Cameroon says terrorists and secessionists are residing in some neighbourhoods in Yaounde.
In the document, quarters like Obili, Biyem-Assi, Etoug-Ebe and environs have been cited as examples according to testimonies from reliable sources.
The Ministry of defence has ordered for security alert and reinforcement in the said quarters especially between October 1st to 7th, after the presidential election in Cameroon.
