Separatist fighters have reportedly attacked some Mbororo cattle rearers in the village of Ntamru in Ndu Subdivision, Northwest, killing four persons.
Reports say the attack took place on Thursday, October 22 and among those killed were two children, a woman and a man named Umaru Bawa.
At least three houses were razed and several livestock destroyed, including seven cows and 14 sheep.
According to locals, the killings were fueled by previous ethnic tensions between the Mbororos and the local population, backed by the quest for revenge by the separatist fighters.
However, the persons killed had done nothing to provoke the Amba boys prio to the attack, according to an eye witness.
