Cameroon soldiers ambushed and killed at least three armed men at Nforya, a small village in Bafut in the restive Northwest Region, on Tuesday, April 4.

Bodies of the young men who were displayed at Nforya Junction in Bafut, shortly after they were killed.

The soldiers are said to have trapped and ambushed them as they went out to do their usual “controls” on heavy duty trucks transporting sand.

Their corpses were displayed at Nforya junction in a similar manner soldiers have often displayed corpses of separatists fighters.

Nforya is notorious for several criminal activities, including kidnapping.

Some time ago, one of the criminals’ hideouts was hit by the military and four alleged kidnappers were killed, including a notorious armed robber popularly known as “Bible”.

Some soldiers were also killed and their colleagues hid their bodies in a room near the compound where the gun exchange took place.
