Some armed separatist groups operating in the restive English-speaking regions of Cameroon have announced what they claim is a curfew on some roads in the South Wes region.
The information is the content of a video which surfaced May 3rd . In the viral video the curfew, those who announced it said will be daily from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The curfew is also said to affect businesses in Kumba and other towns beyond.
The announcement is attributed to separatist fighters under SOCADEF, ARF and AMF. They are said to have mentioned the roads concerned to Kumba-Mamfe, Kumba-Mbonge and Kumba-Buea roads.
Unlike in other cases, the reason for the separatist-imposed curfew remains unknown
